Sewanee

October 21 Today I decided to make a little road trip up to the University of the South.  I attended college at Sewanee for a short while in the mid 80′s and loved it.  It is a beautiful campus and an excellent school.  More photos are here.

Glass

I spent several days in October working on photos of glass art for a client.  It was a challenging shoot, but fun.  I built a light table so that I could light the glass pieces from underneath.  It worked beautifully.

Franklin

October 1 I decided I needed to update my stock photos of downtown Franklin this morning.  The sky was a beautiful blue and it was very clear, after the rains moved out.  It was a great day for making photos.

Swimming Pools

September 30 I spent today running all over Nashville with a swimming pool builder.  He makes some beautiful pools.  Pools with waterfalls, creeks and lots of nice touches.  It was a beautiful day for the shoot.

Sam Davis Home and Tractor Festival

I did a little photography down in Smyrna of the Sam Davis Home and wrote an article for the FamilyFun101.net site on September 28.  The article and photos turned out very nice. Most of the photos were shot last week on B&W film, but the lead off shot of the house I shot on the [...]

Paris and beyond

September 4, 2009 Today Kelly Beard and I went on a photo excursion to Paris and Dresden, Tennessee, not France and Germany.  It was a fun day wandering around these west Tennessee towns.
