Today was the first full week of school.  The girls rode the bus this morning and I made a photo of them waiting for it to arrive.  They were so excited.

I did a shoot for Black Star in Waverly TN today. The shoot was of a mono-fill.  A type of landfill that has only one type of substance buried in it.  The purpose of the shoot was to show how little impact the fill makes on its surroundings.  The fill I photographed was 12 years [...]

Today was our last day at the beach.  We swam and snorkeled all day, had supper at the little restaurant next to the pool and then hit the road around 7pm.  The week was a lot of fun and very relaxing.

We started the day off kayaking with the Pages. It was a lot of fun paddling out to the far sandbar and seeing all the jelly fish and other sea life under the boat.  After kayaking we saw a large group of people walking along the beach.  I had my little S45 in its underwater [...]

I was going to do some portraits of the girls on the beach this evening.  Just as we were getting ready for the shoot a storm blew through drenching us all.  Instead of letting this ruin the shoot we made it into a wet day of photography with the girls in the ocean and the [...]

Just a few more days relaxing at the beach.  We saw dolphins swimming off shore one morning, and we also saw a large ray in the ocean just off shore that afternoon while we were looking for shells.  Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me when we saw the ray. We spent the day at the beach today. The girls had fun playing in the surf and they also built a huge sand dragon.  It was a nice relaxing day.

We arrived in Destin Florida again this year.  We went this time with the Page family.  The drive down was uneventful.  We got to the beach around noon and spent the day playing in the surf and swimming.  After supper we went to teh beach to hunt for crabs.  Ashleigh and the Page girls ended [...]
